Europe’s Sustainable Bank

Triodos Bank has spent 35 years using money to deliver positive social and environmental change to improve people’s quality of life. Its European network is at the heart of these efforts, because it’s in Triodos Bank’s five European branches that its mission is put into practice, integrating sustainability with the business of banking.

We are a European Bank, aligned with a shared mission, values and principles.

Triodos Bank recognises and nurtures unity within diversity; the values that bind its customers and co-workers are the same, while differences in markets and cultures influence how these are applied domestically.

Regulations, tax incentives and government approaches to sustainability are also sometimes very different in diverse markets, requiring different approaches.

Triodos Bank’s growth across Europe is organic. It only considers opening offices in other countries when local professional and committed people are driven to do that, rather than target markets and develop them from a distance.
